Our History +
Cru began at WSU in 1972 as a small group of students who wanted their faith to actually matter on campus, not just on Sundays. Over five decades, that's grown into a full campus community — still run by students, for students.
Where We're Going +
We're part of a much bigger movement — Cru is active on over 1,000 U.S. campuses and 5,300 campuses worldwide. Locally, our goal is simple: every WSU student gets a real chance to encounter who Jesus actually is, in a way that respects their intelligence and their questions.
What We're Like +
Evangelistic, not weird. Not ashamed, not pushy. Serious about our mission, not serious about ourselves. Real community, actually fun, and visible enough on campus that you'll know exactly where to find us.
